Summer trips, climbing and hiking

Mont Blanc, the Highest Peak in Europe

Mont Blanc, standing at 4,810 meters, is the tallest mountain in Western Europe. For many climbers, it is a dream destination and a significant achievement.

Mont Blanc offers breathtaking views of the Alps, spanning across France, Italy, and Switzerland. The panoramic vistas from the summit make the climb an unforgettable experience.

Climbing Mont Blanc requires both physical and mental endurance, as well as the ability to navigate glaciers, snowy slopes, and rocky ridges. It’s an excellent opportunity to test and improve your climbing skills.

Lumiversumi organizes one or two guided weeks each summer, with the goal of getting all participants to the summit of Mont Blanc. Each week is limited to four clients. Climbing to the roof of Europe doesn't require prior mountaineering experience. The main route we use involves mostly easy walking and climbing.

If you're planning to climb Mont Blanc, you should make the decision by the previous fall, as mountain huts get fully booked by then!

Tour du Mont Blanc

The Tour du Mont Blanc is perhaps the most famous and popular hike in the Alps. Its popularity stems from the fact that it circumnavigates Europe's highest mountain, which is visible almost every day (weather permitting), and the scenery is simply stunning.

Additionally, the trek passes through three countries (France, Italy, and Switzerland), and accommodations alternate between cozy hotels in small villages and charming mountain huts high in the Alps.

Due to its popularity, we avoid scheduling the trek in July or August. Instead, we opt for September, when there are fewer tourists and the temperatures are pleasant. It’s not too hot, and the weather is often sunny. Statistically, September is also the driest month in the Alps.
