Haute Route

The Haute Route ski tour is a classic that was originally developed in the early 20th century when British alpinists sought a challenging and adventurous route between Chamonix and Zermatt. Initially, the route was traversed on foot during the summer, but it soon became popular as a winter ski touring route.

The route's popularity is based on the spectacular landscapes it offers, which can only be experienced by moving through the mountains. Additionally, it is a dream route for many ski tourers, testing both physical and mental endurance.

Chamonix-Zermatt

This is the longer and slightly more challenging option compared to the shorter Verbier-Zermatt route. We recommend the longer tour for those who already have more experience with off-piste skiing and at least basic skills in ski touring, such as those from Lapland in Finland, Sweden, or Norway.

Verbier-Zermatt

This is a shorter and easier option. This tour also includes two quite demanding days, specifically the third and fourth days of the trek. However, this shorter version is the best choice if you're concerned about the difficulty of the tour.
